背景说明：Pexiganan (MSI 78 free base) 是 magainin 2 的合成形式类似物。Pexiganan 是一种强效且具有口服活性的广谱抗菌肽。Pexiganan 可用于感染相关的研究，如糖尿病足溃疡感染。
In Vivo：Pexiganan (1， 3， 10 or 30 mg/kg， p.o.， daily for three consecutive days) shows H. pylori clearance efficiency in H. pylori-infected mouse.
Pexiganan (1 mg/kg， i.p.) shows antimicrobial activity in rat models of Gram-negative septic shock.
In Vitro：Pexiganan (MIC: 0-128 μg/mL approximately) shows broad-spectrum antibacterial activity against 3，109 clinical isolates of gram-positive and gram-negative， anaerobic and aerobic bacteria.
Pexiganan (4 μg/mL) inhibits gastric ulcer strain and gastric cancer strain.
