背景说明:Apelin (also known as APLN) is a peptide that in humans is encoded by the APLN gene. Apelin is the endogenous ligand for the G-protein-coupled APJ receptor that is expressed at the surface of some cell types. It is widely expressed in various organs such as the heart, lung, kidney, liver, adipose tissue, gastrointestinal tract, brain, adrenal glands, endothelium, and human plasma. In Vivo:Apelin-13 (200 μg/kg; IP, daily for 4 weeks) improves cardiac function, improves insulin resistance, improves lipid metabolism, significantly decreases TNF-α and leptin on serum, induces the expression of Apelin-12 in serum and markedly elevates GLUT4 and p-AMPKα2 levels. Apelin-13 (10 and 100 μM; ICV, single dosage) increases the spontaneous discharges in the majority of pallidal neurons. In Vitro:未检测 参考文献:[1] K. Tatemoto et al., Biochem Biophy. Res.
