背景说明：Mimecan, also known as KSPG25 (Keratan Sulfate Proteoglycan 25 kDa) and Osteoglycin, is an extracellular matrix protein that belongs to the class III subfamily of the small leucine rich proteoglycan (SLRP) family. SLRPs have leucine-rich repeats in a central domain that is flanked by N- and C-terminal cysteine-rich domains. The core proteins contain N-linked oligosaccharides as well as glycosaminoglycan side chains.
